STB Technology

Was wondering how one can leverage the STB technology which has become a part of every man's life today.  Communication can be made easier between people using the service from the same service provider. If I know the Subscriber Id of the person, I should just be able to type that using the remote and send some quick short messages (like twitter) to the other person who can see it on his TV screen.  This can also be a revenue model for the service providers
